Very famous place to have breakfast in the walled city of Lahore (Old quarter). Phajey dey paye is well known place at Texali Gate. There are several shops with the same name, but we found the authentic shop and interviewed the owner and the chef. The were very kind and hospitable. We ordered half a bowl of sheep trotters stew with hot and fresh naans (flat breads). The stew was loaded with fat and had consistency of nectar due to the sheep gelatin. The taste is difficult to explain, but it was the best trotters that we ever had. The portion was good for two and the sitting was comfortable. Shop is easy to locate once you reach Texali Gate.
